Mitel Introduces World Cloud Platform
Mitel has launched World Cloud, a new solution designed to give multinational businesses a platform to simplify the management of cloud communications. Announced at the company’s Mitel Next event in Paris, the new World Cloud solution expands Mitel’s cloud reach to over 40 countries worldwide.
Supported by 14 of Mitel’s global data centres, World Cloud delivers cloud unified communications that gives employees access to the same communication capabilities no matter where they are. With features including free international extension-to-extension dialling, unlimited user-based country dialling, administration tools, consolidated billing, local in-bound phone numbers and extensions with local-out bound dialling; it provides true local experiences for customers, enables cost savings and simplifies communications management.
“Mitel is helping meet the connection and flexibility needs of multinationals as they penetrate new markets, acquire and merge with other companies or expand their workforce. This is true for the small business looking to address its customers’ needs like a Fortune 500 enterprise, or a large business wanting to adapt to changing markets with the ease of a nimble start-up” said Jon Brinton, President and EVP Mitel Cloud Division. “The key benefit is not only giving global IT organisations simplified user and solution management by giving them a single pane of glass that can manage all their users around the world through our MiCloud web-portal, but also providing users with the tools to bring employees around the world together and make it feel intimate and local.”
