Opus becomes one of only seven direct EE Authorised Service Partners in the UK – completing the picture for mobile at Opus
Opus is proud to have become one of only seven direct EE Authorised Service Providers in the UK, building on our existing business mobile proposition and placing our mobile services on an equal footing with our other telephony, IT and managed print services.
The latest report by the independent benchmarking body RootMetrics (January 2022) showed that EE’s network was the UK’s best overall network for the eighth year in a row.
RootMetrics has awarded EE as the:
- UK’s Fastest Network
- UK’s Most Reliable Network
- UK’s Best Network for (Mobile) Gaming
- Best Network for Data
- Best Network for Text
- Best Network for Accessibility
EE also continues to be the strongest performing 5G network:
- The UK’s Best 5G Network
- 5G in More Places
Our 5G lets you stream more, chat with clarity, and stay connected in more places than anyone else.
All major UK mobile networks
Having provided mobile services from Vodafone and O2 for many years, Opus is now able to offer mobile services for all three major UK mobile networks, together with our popular multi-network SIM solutions from Pangea.
We now have the ability to offer independent advice about all three leading business mobile networks, including the best 5G network, as well supplying mobile phones and tablets from all major brands.
Partnering with EE
We caught up with our Mobile Sales Director Juliette Lee to find out what this new partnership means to her, Opus and most importantly our customers:
I wanted to partner with EE, as they offer the most invested-in mobile network in the UK, the UK’s best 5G network and the best network for business. As a partner, they listen, they move, and they adapt, based on feedback from the customer and partners. EE started this year with a bang, with the most recent RootMetrics (RM) H2 2021 awards, still making them the No.1 network for 8 years in a row!”
A tariff structure for business
“EE’s tariff structure is what is needed for business, to allow our clients to adapt as their needs change, to be comfortable and that their mobile contracts are future proofed, which is something we believe is very important to our mobile proposition. Our clients never need to worry about their mobile estate. As with Opus and our clients, EE believes in partnerships and should we ever encounter a bump in the road, we can talk to them and adapt to what our client’s needs are.”
A strong roaming proposition
“As the world begins to open up to increased travel again, post pandemic, it’s important to have a strong roaming proposition and that is something that has grown for EE over the last 8 years and now rivals the other major networks. This enables Opus to offer businesses peace of mind when it comes to staff working and holidaying overseas. I think EE is the brand to watch and in the same way Opus is looking to expand its mobile capabilities, I think EE is the network that is going to innovate. They believe passionately in technology and have a massive ‘tech hub’ where they create innovation amongst their other products.”
A powerful partnership
“Mobile sits at the heart of EE and its parent company BT with its 42-year heritage in the telecommunications sector. Likewise mobile is a growing part of Opus with our own 30-year heritage in the same sector. This creates a powerful partnership. Like Opus, EE are easy to work with, easy to connect to and our mobile services increasingly feature across our Together range of services. For our customers, it means that Opus can provide, not only the seamless integration between mobile services and our telephony, IT and managed print services but can also provide the robust, flexible and future proof mobile solutions that businesses demand.
